The Sylva Bay Academy Saints football team (Bay Springs, MS), was beaten 37-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS)
The Jaguars (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Winston Academy (Louisville, MS). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Winston Academy was beaten by Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS), 16-14, in a league challenge.
The Saints now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indianola Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Sylva Bay Academy will meet a Colonels team coming off a 43-12 non-league loss to Washington (Greenville, MS). The Colonels record now stands at 0-8.
