In Friday's league match, the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs football squad scored a good 54-24 victory over the Virginia High Bearcats.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) in a Southwest match, on Friday, October 13. Tazewell will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Scarlet Hurricanes enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 42-13 non-league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA).
