The Ponderosa Bruins football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Oakmont Vikings to 16 in the Bruins league win on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Park for a battle on Friday, October 13. Ponderosa will play a Panthers squad coming off a 28-21 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a battle, on Thursday, October 12. Oakmont will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Fighting Zebras go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 20-13 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA).
