Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Woodberry Forest Tigers (Woodberry Forest, VA) in a VPL challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Collegiate will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA).

The Panthers now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Georgetown Day for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Potomac School will confront a Mighty Hoppers team coming off a 4-0 league win over St. James (Hagerstown, MD). The Mighty Hoppers record now stands at 5-2.
