Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Grace Academy will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Knights now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Fletcher for a Metro Area Athletic challenge on Tuesday, October 10.
