The Nerinx Hall Markers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Clayton Greyhounds to 1 in the Markers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Nerinx Hall improves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Markers travel to Mehlville (St. Louis, MO) to clash with the Panthers in a Class 4 District 2 game on Monday, October 9. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 4-21. Mehlville won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO)

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 10. Clayton will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 11-5 record after their 21-11 non-league loss to Parkway North (St. Louis, MO).
