The Gilchrist Grizzlies volleyball team (Gilchrist, OR), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lost River Raiders (Merrill, OR)

The Raiders (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR). The Red Tail Hawks enter the 1A Mountain Valley challenge with a 7-4 record.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Chiloquin Panthers/Queens (Chiloquin, OR) in a 1A Mountain Valley challenge, on Monday, October 9. Gilchrist will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers/Queens enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Bend, OR).
