The Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers volleyball team (Newfield, NJ), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ)

The Mustangs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record.

Next, the Villagers encounter the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic challenge, on Monday, October 9. Our Lady of Mercy Academy will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ).
