The Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison to 0 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Friday.

The Firebirds now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf for a non-league game on Friday, October 6. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will meet a Roadrunners team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Roadrunners record now stands at 7-2.

The Bison (1-6) will now prepare for their game against New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Roadrunners enter the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, New Mexico School for the Deaf gained a win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 3-0, in a league game.
