The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the visiting Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), witnessed Horizon's flag football squad wallop Gateway by a count of 53-0.
The Hawks (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Norsemen go into the 5A/4A Northern Colorado battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Northglenn walloped Aurora Central (Aurora, CO), 48-0, in a league battle.
The Olympians now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 5A/4A Northern Colorado battle on Wednesday, October 8. Gateway will encounter a Mountain Lions team coming off a 13-0 league win over Thornton (Thornton, CO). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 11-2.
