The Monarch Coyotes walloped the host Kennedy Commanders flag football team by a score of 50-0 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes face the Poudre School District Stars (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9. Monarch will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Stars come into the test with a 9-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Mountain Range (Westminster, CO).

With the defeat, Kennedy drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Commanders travel to Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO) to meet the Spartans in a 4A City challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Thomas Jefferson lost 33-6 in their recent league challenge against Denver West (Denver, CO)
