The La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Bears now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 9. La Cueva will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Albuquerque Academy moves to 5-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
