In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Archbishop Alter Knights soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Fairmont Firebirds.
With the triumph, Archbishop Alter moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Badin (Hamilton, OH) to clash with the Rams in a Greater Catholic League Co-Ed test on Wednesday, October 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 9-3. Badin won 6-1 in their recent league test against Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH)
The Firebirds now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miamisburg for a Greater Western Ohio test on Wednesday, October 8. Fairmont will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Princeton (Cincinnati, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 4-8.
