The Fairbanks Panthers soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Northeastern Jets to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Madison Plains for a Ohio Heritage North game on Thursday, October 9. Fairbanks will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Catholic Central (Springfield, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
The Jets (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Grove City Christian was overwhelmed by Fisher Catholic (Lancaster, OH), 1-0, in a non-league game.
