In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Buckingham Knights football squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Cumberland Dukes.
In their next game, the Knights play the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Buckingham will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA).
The Dukes (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Prince Edward County tipped Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 30-0, in a non-league test.
