In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting McCluer Comets football team scored a big 64-20 win over the Lafayette Lancers.

With the triumph, McCluer upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO) to play the Colts in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 13. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

The Lancers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Eureka bounced Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO), 15-14, in a non-league challenge.
