The Butler Bulldogs volleyball squad (Matthews, NC), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC)

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Hough was tipped by Carson (China Grove, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Butler will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).
