The Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), 2-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscola for a match on Thursday, October 9.

The Generals (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters enter the match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lincoln notched a victory over Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 2-0, in a non-league match.
