The Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC), 4-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Clerks now hold a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banneker for a DCIAA contest on Wednesday, October 8. Cardozo will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Roosevelt (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
The Roughriders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Tigers go into the DCIAA challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Jackson-Reed nudged Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
