In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars soccer team scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors.

With the triumph, Carmel Christian advances its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) to clash with the Furies in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Furies come into the test with a record of 5-14. Forsyth Country Day won 8-0 in their recent league test against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC)

The Warriors now have a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to SouthLake Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina test on Tuesday, October 7. Metrolina Christian Academy will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
