In Monday's non-league challenge, the Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA) soccer team edged the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Falcons battle the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Danvers will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Chieftains enter the contest with a 12-2 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Winthrop (Winthrop, MA).
The Sachems (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, MA). The Witches enter the Northeast contest with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Salem was nudged by Beverly (Beverly, MA), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
