In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.

The Firebirds (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Knights go into the Triangle North 1A/2A outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Vance Charter got by Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC), 5-1, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A test, on Wednesday, October 8. Triangle Math & Science will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 4-1 league loss to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC).
