The Southington Blue Knights soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Maloney Spartans to 2 in the Blue Knights league victory on Monday.
The Blue Knights now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Berlin for a Central Connecticut - Central game on Wednesday, October 8. Southington will face a Redcoats team coming off a 2-2 league Platt (Meriden, CT). The Redcoats record now stands at 2-3.
The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Central Connecticut - Central bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Plainville nudged Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT), 1-0, in a league contest.
