In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs.

The Roadrunners (2-13) will now prepare for their outing against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans come into the East Suburban Catholic test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Marian Catholic by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 9-1, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight - East test on Tuesday, October 7. Riverside-Brookfield will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-7.
