With the triumph, Southwest Georgia Academy improves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Warriors host Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 9. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 21-4. Citizens Christian Academy won 28-0 in their recent league contest against First Preparatory Christian Academy (Hinesville, GA)

The Warriors now hold a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Thomasville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 8. Brookwood will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-10.
