With the triumph, Jefferson improves its record to 22-1 on the year. The Dragons travel to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to face the Warriors in a 3A Region 8 game on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 7-16. Oconee County won 8-0 in their recent league match against East Hall (Gainesville, GA)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 8. Rabun County will attempt to better on its 7-21 season record. The Lions go into the match with a 8-12 record after their 13-3 league loss to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA).
