Illinois High School Volleyball - Auburn over North Mac

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) and the visiting North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL), observed Auburn's volleyball team top North Mac by a tally of 2-0.

The Trojans (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Cougars enter the Tomahawk contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Illini Central was defeated by Athens (Athens, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlinville for a South Central test on Thursday, October 9. North Mac will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-9.
