Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 23-6 record. In their last challenge, Illiana Christian beat Highland (Highland, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Peotone will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 15-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Coal City (Coal City, IL).
