West Virginia High School Volleyball - Broadneck can't hold off Musselman

October 6, 2025: Inwood, WV 25428

In Monday's non-league match, the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD), by a margin of 3-2.

The Applemen now possess a 18-8 record. They play next when they host Washington for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Tuesday, October 7. Musselman will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 9-16.

With the loss, Broadneck drops to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Annapolis (Annapolis, MD) to battle the Panthers in a Class 4A East Region II contest on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 2-5. Annapolis won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against North County (Glen Burnie, MD)
