Fans at Monday's league contest between the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) and the visiting Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), observed Stark County's volleyball team top Bureau Valley by a count of 2-0.
The Rebels (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets go into the Lincoln Trail battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Knoxville dropped by Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Storm now own a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monmouth United for a Lincoln Trail battle on Wednesday, October 8. Bureau Valley will encounter a Red Storm squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Red Storm record now stands at 12-13.
