In Monday's league challenge, the host Cisne Runnin' Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Patoka Warriors.
The Runnin' Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison enter the Midland Trail challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Grayville was defeated by Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlawn for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Patoka will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-15.
