The Walled Lake Northern Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Dakota Cougars to 1 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Knights now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Yale for a non-league game on Monday, October 6. Walled Lake Northern will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-10.
The Cougars (6-15) will now prepare for their game against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders go into the Macomb Area - Red game with a 17-7 record. In their last game, L'Anse Creuse North was edged by Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
