North Carolina High School Volleyball - Owen over Erwin

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Owen Warhorses volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Erwin Warriors.

The Warhorses (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Marshall, NC). The Patriots enter the Western Highlands 2A/3A challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Madison was beaten by Polk County (Columbus, NC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asheville for a Mountain 5A/6A test on Tuesday, October 7. Erwin will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 16-4.
