In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Frankford Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets.

The Pioneers (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Parkway Center City (Philadelphia, PA). The Bulldogs go into the PPL - Independence test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Parkway Center City achieved victory over Mariana Bracetti Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olney for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. Science Leadership Academy at Beeber will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Horace Furness (Philadelphia, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.
