The Frankfort Redbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Sesser-Valier Red Devils to 0 in the Redbirds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Redbirds now have a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to Nashville for a Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi outing on Tuesday, October 7. Frankfort will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 13-11.

The Red Devils (3-17) will now prepare for their game against Christopher (Christopher, IL). The Bearcats go into the Black Diamond West game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Christopher went down by Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
