General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, General McLane improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Lancers host Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA) to encounter the Bison in a District 10 Region 5 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Bison go into the test with a record of 8-4. Fort LeBoeuf won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Tech (Erie, PA)

The Grape Pickers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwestern for a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, October 7.
