Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Hazleton Area Greater Nanticoke Area

In Monday's league match, the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) volleyball squad toppled the visiting Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA), by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Greater Nanticoke Area improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Trojans host Dallas (Dallas, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a record of 8-3. Dallas won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA)

Next, the Cougars battle the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) in a Wyoming Valley contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Hazleton Area will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The go into the battle with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA).
