The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI). The Modeltowners go into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Gwinn achieved victory over Marquette (Marquette, MI), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Purple Hornets now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Linden-Hubbell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. L'Anse will encounter a Lakes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chassell (Chassell, MI). The Lakes record now stands at 16-3.
