Fans at Monday's league contest between the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) and the visiting Highland Huskies (Highland, NY), observed Wallkill's volleyball team top Highland by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Academy (Esopus, NY). The Eagles enter the MHAL contest with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, Mount Academy achieved victory over New Paltz (New Paltz, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Huskies now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover for a MHAL battle on Tuesday, October 7. Highland will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 6-3.
