West Virginia High School Volleyball - Hurricane tips Parkersburg South

October 6, 2025: Hurricane, WV 25526

The Hurricane Redskins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots to 1 in the Redskins league triumph on Monday.

The Redskins now possess a 11-18 record. They play next when they travel to Buckhannon-Upshur for a Big Ten outing on Tuesday, October 7. Hurricane will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 10-10.

The Patriots (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 22-4 record. In their last game, Cabell Midland nudged Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 2-0, in a league game.
