Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Lycee Francais de Chicago (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Schurz (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Chicago Public Red North challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Schurz lost by Von Steuben (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the meet the Waldorf Thunder (Chicago, IL) in a Lake Shore Athletic challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Lycee Francais de Chicago will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Thunder come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Roycemore (Evanston, IL).
