New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Greyhounds now have a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a Tomahawk game on Tuesday, October 7. New Ulm Cathedral will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-18.

The Crusaders (11-11) will now prepare for their game against Alden-Conger (Alden, MN). The Knights go into the Valley outing with a 18-6 record. In their last outing, Alden-Conger was topped by Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
