In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes.

The Wolves (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats come into the Division III District 8 challenge with a 5-15 record.

Next, the Hurricanes play the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA) in a Division II District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. L.W. Higgins will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA).
