The Pontiac Indians prevailed the visiting Reed-Custer Comets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Indians now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rantoul for a Illini Prairie outing on Tuesday, October 7. Pontiac will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Reed-Custer drops to 3-23 on the campaign. The Comets host Coal City (Coal City, IL) to confront the Coalers in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 7. The Coalers enter the match with a record of 13-12. Coal City won 2-1 in their recent league match against Streator (Streator, IL)
