Illinois High School Volleyball - Shepard St. Laurence

The St. Laurence Vikings topped the visiting Shepard Astros volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) game, on Thursday, October 9. St. Laurence will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Wolfpack go into the game with a 19-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).

The Astros (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors come into the South Suburban bout with a 13-15 record. In their last bout, Thornton Fractional North fell by Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
