In Thursday's league battle, the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers.
The Knights (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers go into the SouthWest Suburban Red battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Stagg nipped Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Boilermakers (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban Blue battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way East was overwhelmed by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 3-0, in a league battle.
