The Richland Northeast Cavaliers football team (Columbia, SC), was beaten 35-18 in Friday's league challenge with the host A.C. Flora Falcons (Columbia, SC)
The Falcons (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Irmo (Columbia, SC). The Yellowjackets come into the AAAA Region 5 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Irmo was beaten by Ridge View (Columbia, SC), 40-37, in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lugoff-Elgin for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 14. Richland Northeast will meet a Demons team coming off a 18-14 league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Demons record now stands at 3-4.
