The Archbishop Rummel Raiders football team (Metairie, LA), was ripped 36-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA)
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Acadiana trounced Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 50-16, in a league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Augustine for a 5A District 9 challenge on Saturday, October 15. Archbishop Rummel will meet a Purple Knights team coming off a 42-20 league win over Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Purple Knights record now stands at 5-2.
