The Atherton Wolverines football team (Burton, MI), was ripped 60-26 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Colon Magi (Colon, MI)
The Magi (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI). The Redskins come into the Southern Michigan A (8 Man) challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Camden-Frontier trounced Athens (Athens, MI), 42-36, in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Deckerville for a North Central Thumb - Stars (8 Man) challenge on Thursday, October 13. Atherton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-34 league win over Mayville (Mayville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
