California High School Football - Cathedral City nips Banning

In Friday's league match, the host Cathedral City Lions football squad scored a close 19-18 victory over the Banning Broncos.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) in a Desert Valley match, on Friday, October 14. Cathedral City will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Mighty Arabs enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 65-0 league win over Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA).
